My primary research interests involve plant community and physiological responses to wildland fire and land management actions. I use a combination of fieldwork, GIS, and statistical modeling to help land managers reach conservation, restoration, and fire safety goals.

I am currently a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow working with Temple University and Fort Indiantown Gap National Guard Training Center to produce creative solutions to land management issues, refine data collection protocol, and develop new research initiatives to advance our understanding of the roles of fire and forestry in temperate coniferous and broadleaf ecosystems.
